WOMEN'S CHRISTMAS COOKIE CONNECTION

A time to honor our shut-ins with Christmas cheer!

Bring 1 dozen cookies to share with our shut-ins who we will visit that morning. We will go in teams of three to take a stocking filled with goodies, a tin of Christmas cookies, and a card that we will all sign for each of our Lakeview shut-ins.

Come be inspired by a Christmas devotion, enjoy brunch and a good time of fellowship with your Lakeview sisters.

For this event, there will be no childcare.

Registration deadline: Wednesday, December 4, 2024

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD (SHOEBOX MINISTRY) | COLLECTION WEEK NOVEMBER 18-25

Operation Christmas Child is sponsored by Franklin Graham’s Samaritan’s Purse ministry. They provide the supplie sand directions for constructing and filling the shoeboxes that will be delivered to needy children around the world near Christmas time. In early November the shoeboxes and direction lists will be available in the church sanctuary. People fill the shoeboxes and return them to the church before or during the collection week. It is very helpful if you pay for the empty shoebox, the items to fill the shoebox that you pick out using their suggestion lists and the shipping for mailing the shoebox.

To help during the collection week, use the Sign-Up sheet at the Operation Christmas Child display. Thank you for your generous outpouring of love to these children.

FEED THE STREET | NOVEMBER 6

Our new Feed the Street adoption program is well underway, and we are thankful for those who have stepped up to help deliver food to families each month! We could use donation of the following items to put in the food bags: boxes of cereal, boxes of pasta, pasta sauce, peanut butter crackers, boxes of potatoes, jiffy mix, oatmeal packets, pudding, fruit, applesauce cups, and fruit snacks. Our next delivery will begin November 6.

CIRCLES OF GRANT COUNTY | DO YOU FEEL STUCK?

Do you feel stuck?

Are you living paycheck to paycheck? Do you long for a stronger community and support network? Do you want to improve yourself and achieve your goals?

Circles of Grant County is one of the local programs that Lakeview Church partners with. Circles helps low-income individuals and families increase their income, achieve their goals, and become financially stable. We want you to be a LEADER in our community. You will receive training on finances, employment, goal setting, and communication skills. But what really makes Circles different are the relationships you will form. We match you with volunteers who are there to support you in your journey and you will also have the opportunity to help others as they develop a vision of thriving. Achieving your goals and moving from surviving to thriving is easier when you have a circle of support.
